Jen and her girls!

This is a quick, teaser, sneak peak for Jen who did her mommy & me shoot this weekend with her three gorgeous girls! (They are all so hip!) We had lots of fun on the couch!

OK, back to editing! I should be done with the rest very soon!!

Framed Pictures

This is probably SO yesterday. But my sister gave me this old window frame she found when she was cleaning out her shed.

I was going to put pictures behind the glass, but then they didn't clean up well so instead I took the panes out. I printed some pictures to size in black and white and had them mounted on styrene board. I put them into place, added some picture wire, and hung it in my kitchen. I love how it turned out and that I actually finished a project. I'm so bad about envisioning a fun project like this, but then never doing it! I thought I would share! (I took all these pictures with my phone, so bare with me!)

I'm linking this post up to the Shabby Chic Cottage's Transformation Thursdays.

Logan's mama received a gift certificate for her baby shower! Fast forward six months and Logan was in my studio and I had the pleasure of working with him and his sweet parents. Logan is a mover and shaker don't let this picture fool ya!

He was an inquisitive little fella! That's why I LOVE this age! I've said it before, and I'll say it again (tell your friends, shout it from the roof top, post it on your blog, put it on the calendar) - six months old is the age to do a photo shoot!!

I've been lovin' me some black and whites lately!

Bring special items in for the shoot. This blanket was made by a friend especially for Logan! And Logan wrapped himself up!

I love this one of Logan with his Daddy's big, strong hands wrapped sweetly around him. Actually, it makes Logan look kind of small! But as you can tell by his yummy rolls, he wasn't that little!

Thanks, Sunsharae and Derrell for bringing Baby Logan to the studio for some pictures!

Here's a sweet sibling shot of Jackson and Lila Grace. Is Jackson a proud big brother or what???

Baby Gage

I drove north to meet Baby Gage a few weeks ago, and now that the announcements have been mailed out, I get to share all the pictures here on the ol' blog.

First, I loved this one of sweet, little (but not so little, if you check out his birth weight below) Gage in his nursery lying in his crib. His nursery was awesome! His mama, Sara, knows how to decorate! Her whole house was inspirational actually!

Baby Gage slept for us a little at the beginning and then not some much until we went outside and he was out! And his birth announcement, which might be my favorite yet! (See Tina Parker's My Lil Creations)

Thanks so much, Sara and Carl! Hope you invite me back soon, with or without my camera!!

P.S. Can I just say, I love big babies. I was a big baby myself at 9 lbs, 15 oz. and my first, Presley was a shocking (to me anyway) 9 lbs, 2 oz . I layed off the sweets during my second pregnancy and Teagan was 8 lbs 14 oz (saved myself 4 oz, whoohoo).

Madden has a new smile he likes to give for pictures. While it's cute and adorable and captures a moment in time, all mama's want at least one picture of their child smiling naturally for the camera. That is one thing I love about photography - the challenge to draw out and capture that natural joy. I always give it my all! But I ain't gonna lie, I don't ALWAYS succeed. Some kids are hard to crack!

First, this mama is GORGEOUS! (And does she not look like Jessica Simpson?) Secondly, her pictures turned out awesome! I hope she lets me post a slide show of the whole session (once I'm done editing them)!

LOVE these back lit pics!

Thanks, Brittany for an awesome shoot! Enjoy your sneak peak!

Hays Family

This mama has supported me from the start of my photography business. Actually...she was instrumental in me starting my photography business. We've been friends since high school and I'm lucky to call her one of my BFFs! Love you, Crystal, and your growing family!

Twin boys

Meet Simeon (left) and Blaise (right).

These little guys are now almost five months old!? It's been a while since this picture was taken, but I still wanted to give them some blog love! Their mama has four boys three and under!!

Henlee and Bradly, and big sister Ella

More twins! But this time it was a boy and a girl! Big sister couldn't have been more proud!

And their sweet announcement!

Two Two's

or should we say tutu's! :) My nieces turned two the end of last month! They are getting soo big!

As you can see, they are full of sassiness!!
