Toddler time at the arboretum!

I met Jackson and his folks at the arboretum for some spring pictures! It was a little humid and we quickly found out, lil Jack didn't like the heat. But once we found some shade, he was in the mood for a little of this...

and this...
and this...

and this.... (my hands down favorite!)

Thanks Nicole, Jaime, and Jackson!

Spring Card

Isi and Oli wished their family and friends a 'happy spring' via mail with this cute card!

Front:

Back:

Their big sister, Miranda will be a senior next year and she's going to be one of my senior reps. If you know anyone who will be a senior next year (2010-2011) and they haven't taken senior pictures and would like to earn print credits by being a senior rep, tell them to contact me!! Basically anyone they refer for senior pictures, they both will receive print credits!!

"hi daddy!"

My sister and nieces came over for a Mommy and Me shoot. Willa was busy 'talking on the phone'. She enjoyed the lime light after her sister, Dovie, had about a 30 minute meltdown right before we got started. After some Motrin and some fruit snacks we decided to wait to do the remainder of the shoot since she had puffy, red eyes and didn't seem to feel all that well. I wanted to post something about it because these things happen, and that's life! We can always try again! It's not always the most convenient thing for parents (get everyone ready, everyone dressed, everyone to the shoot fed, rested, and happy), but it's an option!

Anywho, Alison says when her girls pretend to be on the phone, they say, "hi daddy!". Mine say, "hello....nuthin'". Kids are so dang cute!

Peek-a-boo Fun...

...at the arboretum. These two were funny! I enjoyed my time with them last week! Working on a spring card, so I don't want to show too much, but peek-a-boo at their age always makes the cutest pictures!! Thanks, Jen!

Apple bottom jeans...

...the boots with the fur!

I literally could not stop signing this song for about a week after little Kylee and her parents came out for Kylee's one year pictures!

Just look at the cuteness of those boots (and that jacket)! And her little inquisitive nature, holding on so she didn't fall - pure preciousness!

And her beautiful smoked Christmas dress, I think I heard angels sing when mom brought it out!

Happy first birthday, Kylee!

Pesano Family

Remember the contest I had back in October? After the new year, we got together in the studio and did some pics of the kids by themselves, the kids together, the whole family, the boys, the girls, just the parents, and every other combination we could think of! In other words we did it all!

Here are some of my favorites of the kids, from oldest to youngest.

And this little treasure is what's called 'real life'!! And I love it!!

MDO preview

Here is a preview for tomorrow. My goal is to have a classy, simple, fall setting and let your child take the lead! (I want the focus to be your kid and not a busy background!)

If they don't want to sit on the stool, they don't have to. And we'll do our best to encourage and extract pretty smiles and not this face!

I'm looking forward to it and appreciate the opportunity to capture your kiddo's sweet personalities!

It's rough being 2!

Here's Presley. She's been a little camera shy lately. But she finally came around - it started off a little rough, but she eventually warmed up.

American Beauties

I didn't get any pictures of them in their fourth of July duds. So while Teagan and I were waiting for Presley to wake up one afternoon, we went out in the front yard and snapped a couple pictures.

Teagan was all smiles.

Presley woke up and had somewhat of a chip on her shoulder...

Teagan still smiling!

Presley finally came around, after I bribed her with fruit snacks (or was it skittles).

I think I know what Teagan is trying to say! I agree Teggie! We are so blessed to live in the US of A! America's #1!

And MORE twin fun!

Lots of twins recently! I was dragging my feet on posting a sneak peak at the pictures because I couldn't decide my favorites, a problem I never mind having! I'm not quite done with all of them, but preliminary evidence points to the following favorites:

Mom with Sydney

Dad with Jane

Claire with Mom and Dad

Family shot (almost everyone smiling and almost everyone looking at the camera!!)

Lil P

Here is one of Presley's two year old pictures in some of her new birthday duds. She is something else!!

Some of her favorite things lately:
  • anyone's keys - she tries to unlock all the doors, use them while she's in Teagan's walker, which is the shape of a pink jeep, or put them in a play purse.
  • talking on the phone (really her hand) to her cousins "Dubie" and "Willa", who I think she thinks is one person
  • the Wiggles
  • singing the ABC's - and all the letters that she doesn't know, she replaces with her two favorite words - "no" and "my"
  • singing row, row, row your boat, but I think she's almost over this obsession
  • taking her diaper off
  • diapering all her babies, or really anything with legs (she put a diaper on a barbie the other day)
  • doing things herself and she'll say "my do it", which means "I'll do it"
  • "chocolate nimp", which means "chocolate milk", she can pronounce chocolate perfectly!

Summer Time Girls

Here are some recent pictures of my girls enjoying some summer time weather!
