My friend Michelle let me borrow this vintage stroller that actually belonged to her grandmother. It was old and perfect!

Update

Wow, I apologize! My absence does not mean I haven't been busy. With pictures, kids, a squeezed-in summer trip to the beach, and growing in the belly region. Not from one too many beers (I wish!), but because we are expecting No. 3 - another girl, we're naming Temple! Summer and the insane heat basically took over and now that we are back to school (one in kindergarten, one in preschool two days a week) I have a brief moment (because I'm due in less than two weeks) to catch up! I blame it on a serious case of the...lazys, summer-heat-gone-to-my-brain, time-got-away-from-me, no-bedtime-for-the-girls-all-summer (and no downtime for mama, so therefore I fell into bed myself), and finally, my-firstborn-was-going-to-kindergarten-and-I-savored-every-last-minute... Excuse me while I get a tissue.

So take your pick on any of those excuses reasons. Anywho, what better post than to share these pictures of this sweet little baby named, Piper! Love that name!

And her precious announcement!

Yes, she was born in May and we took these right after she was born and I'm JUST now posting them. I was trying NOT to look at that date and calculate all that. But I had to look. Oh my! Did I mention that I'm pregnant? I've used the heck out of that excuse! And I'm about to use the one, "I have a newborn." By the way, we are so not ready for the change a newborn brings. And yet, I'm SOOO ready.

Baby Gage

I drove north to meet Baby Gage a few weeks ago, and now that the announcements have been mailed out, I get to share all the pictures here on the ol' blog.

First, I loved this one of sweet, little (but not so little, if you check out his birth weight below) Gage in his nursery lying in his crib. His nursery was awesome! His mama, Sara, knows how to decorate! Her whole house was inspirational actually!

Baby Gage slept for us a little at the beginning and then not some much until we went outside and he was out! And his birth announcement, which might be my favorite yet! (See Tina Parker's My Lil Creations)

P.S. Can I just say, I love big babies. I was a big baby myself at 9 lbs, 15 oz. and my first, Presley was a shocking (to me anyway) 9 lbs, 2 oz . I layed off the sweets during my second pregnancy and Teagan was 8 lbs 14 oz (saved myself 4 oz, whoohoo).

Baby Finn

Baby Finley made his debut and I met him at two weeks old. Although we got a couple shots where he looked like he was sleeping, it was merely a long blink! This baby didn't want to miss a thing!! He was so good and just watched us while we moved him about and positioned him this way and that!

Baby Lila

As you can see, there was an influx of babies around here! (So you can imagine my baby fever! But I'm waiting patiently on hubby to say it's again time to procreate.)

Lila is now five weeks already, but when she came for her first photo shoot, she was a mere six days old. My youngest subject to date (besides my own). And we got sooo many cute ones!! This was my favorite hands down!

And her announcement shows my next four favorites!

She's still just as sweet as can be! Crystal, thanks again for letting me get my baby fix and take pictures of lil Lila Grace!

Baby Sophia

Baby Sophia is now almost...4 months old?? Could it be!! Iy-yiy-yiyy! (how do you spell Iy-yiy-yiiyy?)

Baby Luke

I was so happy to get to meet Baby Luke for the first time! Although he preferred to be in Mama's arms, he let us play! Thanks Mindy! I enjoyed your visit!

Baby M

This is Baby M, who I got to meet last week along with his mama, Bethany. According to Mama, Baby M is not much of a napper during the day, but you probably wouldn't believe it seeing the pictures below.

We actually got a good mixture of wakefulness and sleepiness, but these were my favorite! It was pretty funny, between shots Mama would give him a bottle and he would gulp it down like he hadn't eaten in DAYS!! Getting his picture taken was such hard work that he worked himself up an appetite!
